再见,导演

她是位值得敬佩的本地导演
她只需要用一部电影或广告,就能让人们沉思,让人们感动
只可惜老天不惜才,那么早就把她给带走
这个消息,真的让人们措手不及
Yasmin Ahmad...

Too fast to live, too young to die
感谢您所给予的感动与反省

The Clothing Issues

When we were at the airport, I noticed
All the guy's luggage are bigger than mine
Mine is kinda like the smallest of them all

Oh... I thought I'm a girl, who should be the one who brought a lot of stuff here
Apparently not

There are only 9 upper part clothes which pajamas are not included
2 Long Jeans
1 Short pants
1 Knee length skirt
1 Jacket

Damn it! I should have brought more!!!

-__- I packed my bag as the usual way I pack for traveling with my family
Which is "as less as possible" (coz we traveled the way sort of like backpackers)
Now I know, i should not cut down that much

Every Monday to Friday, I can only have 1 pants to swap -__-
Monday, Pants A
Tuesday, Pants B
Wednesday, Pants A... again!
Thursday, Pants B and so on...
Argghhhhh~

Then the "go out makan" short pants.... There's only ONE?!?!
Noooooooo~~~~ Why am I that stupid?!?!
If I go out makan at night everyday, it'll be the same damn pants!

Oh, how about the skirt?
No
One should not think of bringing any short skirt around the Monsoon Season in India
It's WINDY!
Like.... EVERYDAY!

Although my skirt is knee length
It still "flew" and "dance" in the air
When I first tried to wear it, I regret and went up to changed it before I leave my apartment
Guess I'm not giving up
Cause I have so little pants here and now I can't even wear my only skirt?!?!

So, I wore it yesterday, the 2nd attempt
and I regret again!
However I have no time to change it back to pants this time...
#@%$%$#@
Die then die lar~ Just pakai sahaja~ I'll just hold my skirt

Guess I'll wear it to office then, at least it's not windy inside

No wonder the Indian ladies are wearing long Saree or Salwar Kameez here
The Salwar Kameez looks like this

It is quite popular among the Indian ladies, can pair it with a very long and fit legging

Or with the loose trousers (the salwar)

I checked it on the wiki
This Salwar Kameez is actully originates from Muslim invaders from Turkey and Afghanistan
Now it's popular among the Indian ladies

That's it for now

Oh ya~ The number 42.5 made my day yesterday XD
Haven't seen this number for years~ Even if it's not accurate I am still going to believe it :D

Charminar in Hyderabad

So, how did I spend my 1st weekend in Hyderabad?

Of course we went out to visit one of the significant landmark of Hyderabad, Charminar

I wasn't too sure about it's history, as I wasn't listening to the security guard who volunteer to be our guide. It's too noisy up there.

The interior

The busy street underneath

The full view of Charminar

So, what's the usual transport we take to move around this area?

Of course we don't ride a motorbike, people here who drives are really brave
Cause the traffic is chaotic

This is what we took to go around town. At first we called it Tut-tuts.
We then asked the local, it's actually called Auto, sounded more like "ato"

Very cute yellow "Auto", it can actually fit 8 of us in
Well, of course some of us will be the "bumbung" XD

In order to feel more comfortable, we usually take 2 "Auto"s

And I saw camel! Feels so Arabic

Khairul talking to the kids on the train.
We are all exhausted, he's the only one who still able to talk to them.

That's it for today, will update more next time.

Moth Balls in India

In India, I notice the sinks here mostly have this white ball
At first I was not sure what is that
After observing it
It is actually a moth ball

-___-

I am not sure what I should comment about this
Never thought a moth ball can be used in a place like this
In a sink?
That's pretty weird
At least I never see people use moth balls like this in Malaysia
We basically only put it inside a closet or cupboard, which is dry

They put it in every sink, which is wet!
So weird!

Wall of Memories

Blackie gave me 7 of his lomo pics
It is the reason why I wanted to do this lomo wall
Been shooting for around a year
Ironically I never try to create the lomo wall in Malaysia

I mixed Blackie's photos and mine together
Some are before departure, some are after
Seems like I really took a long way to be here
An uneven path

I wonder how will it evolve in the future?

We smells like "body powder"

Wednesday morning, I was browsing through the TV channels. Then suddenly saw a very weird thing.
Huh?! CCTV channel?!
O__O!! What the ...?!
It seems to be our apartment guard house, and I asked if other ppl has it or not~
End up another apartment is able to watch this channel.
Weird, so weird~ Guess it is quite useful for people waiting for someone to fetch em'
Coz can go out after seeing the car he/she is waiting arrived xD

I saw this in the mini market at the clubhouse, which the name is Curd, rather than Yogurt
The difference between em is curd is more solid than yogurt
And there is no additional flavour, like blueberries, mixed berries, strawberries
It's just plain Curd~ it's quite sour for my standard

I ate the Mc D veggie burger yesterday as my lunch
Never did try for the veggie burger in m'sia before
It's actually quite good

As for yesterday dinner, we went to a restaurant, Hyderabad Chef near a busy street
We were kinda scared for the big portion they serve in the cafeteria
Some of my group members describe it as "a bowl of mountain"
So, when the waiter gave us the plate, we were shocked
Coz the plate is bigger than our face

Here is the proof~ L: Steve, R: Desmond with the plates posing as mickey mouse

The tandoori chicken actually taste good~ L: Desmond, R: Albert

Luckily in the end, we realised it's just the plate which is big, and not the food portion

When we finished our meal, the waiter gave us a bowl of white tiny beads looking thing
I think I heard him say wash xx
We thought it was soap, so when Steve was eating it we stop him and asked him to spit it out XD
After asking the guy to demo only we knew it was a "mouth freshener" with a little bit of mint + "body powder" flavour
Everyone's expression was so funny after tasting it, I had a good laugh
Too bad I did not took the pics coz I am still eating

This is the "Hot Chips" which the 1st batch ppl introduce us
Tasted some, it doesn't seems to be very "hot" though
Perhaps we have some immune towards spices already XD

Lesson is quite tiring, lots of terms which I don't really understand
Even if I wrote it down, I will still forget later
-__- Rusty old brain... sigh
